Your role
We are seeking a quant trader to join the CRB desk within UBS global markets.
This is a fast-paced and collaborative team operating a mix of successful businesses in the liquidity provision space.
- You will engage in the management of the team book and automated processes
- You will apply a data-driven and systematic approach to trading.
- You will employ statistical analysis to optimize quoting, trading, and risk management strategies.
- You will be involved in every aspect of systematic trading: designing, back testing, and implementing trading strategies as well as tracking their performance.
- You will contribute to pricing and risk models and oversee their operation.

Your team
The CRB desk has a long history of driving innovation in the quantitative trading space at UBS.
- We enjoy solving challenging problems using innovative models, big data, and market intelligence.
- Our diverse team comprises quant traders with a wealth of skills and experience across systematic trading, research and development in Equities, ETFs and Delta1 space.
Your expertise
- You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
- Great problem-solving and analytical ability
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- A self-starter who can work independently
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to quickly and easily understand and explain business, software, and modelling issues
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A high degree of integrity, comfortable to challenge and who collaborates naturally
- Ideally, experience in the quant trading space especially in equities and/or ETFs
- Excellence in statistical modelling and data science
- Experience in python essential. KDB/Java/C++ would be beneficial
- Experience with Unix systems and familiarity with DevOps practices considered a plus
