Investment Management Technology – CRD & Trading Systems Senior Developer
We are hiring a CRD & Trading Systems Senior Developer to join our global Trading Systems team in London, supporting our CRD OMS and connected trading workflows used by desks worldwide.
This is a senior hands-on engineering role focused on enhancing, stabilising, and extending our existing vendor OMS platform (CRD) and its integrations across front, middle, and back office systems.
Our strategy is to leverage and evolve our vendor platform, engineering robustness, improving workflows, and reducing operational friction in a live production environment.
You will work closely with traders, compliance, operations, and global technology teams to deliver pragmatic, incremental improvements that increase stability, transparency, and time-to-market.

Success in this role requires strong production engineering discipline, comfort operating within vendor platform constraints, and a mindset focused on reliability and long-term platform evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and support CRD OMS workflows in a live production trading environment
- Design and deliver improvements to order routing, FIX connectivity, and downstream post-trade integrations
- Act as senior escalation point for CRD-related production issues, driving root cause analysis and permanent fixes
- Improve platform observability, logging, monitoring, and operational resilience
- Build and maintain integrations across front-, middle-, and back-office systems (allocations, matching, confirmations, reconciliations, daily P&L)
- Work iteratively with trading desks and operations to deliver small, safe, high-impact improvements
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, release management, and automation
- Reduce manual processes and operational risk through thoughtful engineering
Requirements
Must Have
- Recent hands-on experience delivering and supporting CRD OMS in a buy-side production environment
- Strong C# /.NET engineering experience building and supporting production services
- Working knowledge of FIX protocol, including session management, order lifecycle, and production issue resolution
- Experience diagnosing and resolving live trading system incidents with permanent remediation
- Strong SQL Server / T-SQL skills (data modelling, performance tuning, troubleshooting)
- Experience integrating vendor platforms with internal services and downstream systems
- Demonstrated ability to improve stability, monitoring, and operational robustness in complex environments
