About the Role
The team is a multi-award winning FinTech software company, leading the professional services market – particularly in the UK accountancy sector. Backed by significant investment, they are scaling rapidly and looking for a talented In-house Creative Designer to bring content creation in-house.
As their first creative hire, you will take ownership of this growing marketing pillar while collaborating with an established brand boasting over 10,000 UK customers. Success an established player and a disruptor in fintech, they seek:
- Designers with experience in content creation for SaaS vendors
- Those passionate about disruptive storytelling with creative flair
- Growth mindsets comfortable in a fast-paced, VC-backed startup environment
Key Responsibilities

Brand Advocacy
- Fully align content with existing brand guidelines, ensuring absolute consistency across all outputs.

Design Systems & Asset Management
- Create, maintain, and evolve brand asset libraries (templates, graphics, toolkits).
- Develop refined visual identity guidelines, proposing improvements as needed.
- Build and uphold a central digital asset repository (accessible internally).

Full Content Production & Refining
- Design social graphics, email templates, and digital ads, keeping content visually compelling and on-brand.
- Support campaigns and product launches with on-brand assets for all digital/physical touchpoints.
- Work on website elements like landing pages, banners, icons, and custom imagery.

Generalist Skills with Focus
- UI/UX & Small-Scale Web Design: Produce responsive web assets including banners and dynamic icons.
- Digital Clearinghouse: Generate ads for display, paid social, and remarketing campaigns.

- Production Guild Management: Coordinate print suppliers and production for physical materials.

Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- 3-5 years in a leadership design role, ideally in SaaS or professional services.
- Strong portfolio showing expertise across brand identity, digital design, and campaign materials.
- Proof of applying brand guidelines effectively—consistency and adaptability are key.
- Network of external freelancers is a preference; cultural awareness for scenario briefing is desirable.
- Bonus: Familiarity with professional services or accountancy sectors aids context.
Technical & Software Proficiency
- Core Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) + CMS tools like HubSpot.
- Aligned with Figma and Canva workflows.
- Experience with digital ad formats, responsive assets, and print production files.
