Creative Designer Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Salary: Competitive Contract: Permanent Please submit your portfolio as part of your application. If you do not submit a portfolio your application will not be considered. We are looking for a new Creative Designer to raise standards of brand design across the digital design team. The individual will be instrumental in brand and NPD campaign ideation as well as ensuring Tommee Tippee are at the forefront of digital and creative design. You will be part of a team driving creative ideas and collaboration across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all creative outputs deliver integrated digital and print creative against the brand strategy. You’re a versatile designer, drawing on digital design, social, instore, POS and more to unlock the full storytelling potential of every project. What you will be doing: Brainstorming ideas, developing concepts, and creating visualisations across brand, product and sales driven campaigns and assets. Leading creative projects and delivering compelling work across digital platforms. You will be responsible for upholding ‘Tommee Tippee Standards’, driving creative excellence through all forms of storytelling, across multiple touchpoints and platforms. Work strategically to drive ideas and brand awareness, providing strong engagement through creative deliverables across all consumer channels. Recognize the possibilities beyond the scope of the assignment. Bring a passion and strength for explaining the strategic thought behind creative decisions. Continue to expand and strengthen the Tommee Tippee brand toolkit, while staying true to the brand and its core values. Staying up to date with current trends in design, art, fashion, and technology. Drive the adoption of emerging technologies i.e. AI What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job: Experience in a similar role (agency or busy in-house dept). Experience of working within a challenging, fast-paced and rewarding environment. Experience in ideating and designing brand campaigns. Well versed at designing all aspects of the digital design process, particularly concepting, UX/UI, responsive and mobile first design and motion. Experience in print with knowledge of instore design and packaging. Avid follower of brand, creative campaigns and social trends as well as in-depth knowledge and best practice within digital advertising. Have a strategic mindset and be able to think critically to identify opportunities and craft campaigns to achieve brand objectives. Highly collaborative, with strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to lead and inspire the team. Fluent skills in the core Adobe CC programmes including Premier Pro and After Effects.
