Creative Director - UK

Creative Director (Social-First) – Driver of Culturally Bold Ideas

About the Role

We’re seeking a social-first Creative Director—someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, internet culture, entertainment, and innovation. This is for culturally-savvy makers, tastemakers, and creative visionaries who reject traditional advertising and instead help brands become part of culture.

You’ll lead groundbreaking creative work across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, emerging platforms, and influencer partnerships, shaping how audiences experience brands online. The ideal candidate doesn’t just keep up with culture—they anticipate it, blending sharp creative instincts with deep platform mastery to deliver work that people watch, share, remix, and talk about.

You’ll collaborate across strategy, production, accounts, creators, and clients to build campaigns that break through feeds and drive measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead bold creative vision and execution for:
    • Social-first brand campaigns
    • Always-on content development
    • Influencer activations
    • Content series and cultural moments
  • Develop platform-specific ideas for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social channels—moving brands beyond traditional advertising into culturally relevant storytelling and internet-native creativity.
  • Oversee full creative workflows, including concept, copy, art direction, content execution, and quality control across multiple accounts.
  • Partner with strategy, production, and account teams, mentoring designers, copywriters, editors, and creators to produce high-impact social work.
  • Create campaigns that merge brand storytelling with platform-native execution, ensuring content spreads and performs.
  • Pitch clients on trends, campaigns, and cultural opportunities, positioning us as thought leaders.
  • Stay relentlessly plugged into internet culture—including creators, entertainment, music, digital behaviours, and emerging tech.
  • Identify new formats, trends, and tools to keep clients ahead of the game.
  • Support agency growth through new business pitches, leadership strategies, and evolving creative capabilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
