The Role

We’re seeking a Creative Lead to shape Simmer’s next creative chapter—one who thrives in building, not just maintaining. This means combining creative direction, production, and operational thinking to define not just the work we create, but how we bring it to life effectively.

You’ll partner closely with our founders, Head of Brand, and Growth team to develop platform-native, culturally resonant, and commercially effective creative. You’re the type of person who craves meaning—you notice what others miss, collect inspiring work, and understand why audiences stop scrolling, engage, or remember a campaign.

Your comfort spans campaign production, performance ads, creator collaborations, and production workflows. Equally, you’re pragmatic—turning your creative vision into results-driven output without compromising quality or speed.

What You’ll Do

Creative Execution

  • Design culturally relevant, platform-specific, and high-impact creative.
  • Lead execution across:
    • Paid social
    • Organic content
    • Website
    • Campaigns
    • Packaging
    • Founder-generated content
    • Product launches
  • Elevate quality and consistency across all our touchpoints.

End-to-End Production

  • Own production from concept to delivery, including:
    • Planning
    • Budgeting
    • Location/talent/freelancer bookings
    • Managing photographers, videographers, editors, and stylists
    • Leading in-person and virtual shoots
    • Ensuring high-quality output at pace.

Build Our Creative Function

  • Opportunity: Shape Simmer’s creative capabilities for sustainable growth.
  • Create scalable, efficient systems—instilling clarity without adding inefficiency.
  • Develop and nurture a trusted freelancer network (production, design, motion, editing).
  • Continually refine quality, speed, and output.

Performance Creative

  • Treat creative as a critical growth lever, collaborating with the Growth team.
  • Refine and iterate creative using data, A/B testing, and audience insights.
  • Distinct focus on work that earns attention and drives commercial results—not just aesthetics.

Protect & Evolve the Brand

  • Champion quality and challenge generic work, raising the bar.
  • Ensure every customer interaction—matter it’s a Meta ad, founder narrative, podcast, or campaign—feels distinctively Simmer.

What We’re Looking For

Where experience matters:

  • Proven expertise in creative production, branded content, D2C, or content creation, preferably within fast-moving consumer brands, agencies, or studios.

  • Exceptional creative judgement and a keen visual eye.
  • Equally strong in brand storytelling and performance marketing.
  • Experience with social-first content and campaigns of all scales.
  • Confidence in end-to-end shoot management (pre-production to delivery).
  • Ability to simplify workflows without adding bureaucracy.
  • Highly adaptive, organised, and resourceful—Thriving under pressure.
  • Proactive, problem-solver, who acts on opportunities.
  • Founder-oriented mindset—comfortable pushing decision-making.
  • Extroverted intelligence in spotting potential without waiting for direction.

Ideal candidates share a builder’s mindset and a bias towards action—Someone who envision what’s yet to exist and enables others to build it.

Experience in ex.

  • Founder-led D2C, wellness, lifestyle, fashion, creator-enabled, or sports brands is bonus, but not essential.
