Creative Manager - Trend and Colour

Creative Manager (12-Month Contract)

We have an exciting opportunity to join COS as Creative Manager on a 12-month contract. You will work directly with our Design Director and be responsible for developing and delivering seasonal colour and print palettes, using insights from fashion, art, design, and competitor analysis. Your role will focus on delivering trend-led strategies and a continuous flow of inspiration that directly influences the collection while supporting the brand’s creative direction.


What You Will Do

  • Creative Direction Leadership Provide inspirational and strategic leadership to the design team and wider COS functions, ensuring alignment with the brand’s vision and long-term goals.

  • Managing Seasonal Direction, Research & Workflow Oversee seasonal direction, research, and workflow from inception to final delivery, keeping projects aligned with the design calendar.

  • Trend, Colour & Print Development Lead the creation of seasonal colour and print palettes, drawing on research from fashion, art, design, and competitors to deliver relevant, directional content.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with design, buying, and production teams to integrate trend insights into the collection, ensuring consistency and relevance across departments.

  • Team Management & Development Manage and develop the creative team (colour and trend), including recruitment, performance, and growth, while upholding high creative standards.

  • Insight & Communication Condense trend research into clear, actionable insights and present findings through seasonal workshops and internal presentations, ensuring creative strategies are understood and implemented across the business.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a senior creative research or trend-building role, within fashion (in-house or agency)
  • Strong ability to translate brand vision into forward-looking creative strategies, combining trend forecasting, cultural insight, and commercial awareness
  • Proven expertise in both long- and short-term trend forecasting, with the ability to shape elevated colour and print direction
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience, ensuring creative direction is consistently realised across design, buying, and production
  • Strong leadership skills, including building high-performing teams, fostering creativity, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to present clear, compelling ideas that influence and align stakeholders

Additional Information

This is a full-time temporary 12-month contract based at our Head Office in London.
