Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Senior Account Manager to join a talented & supportive team, committed to excellence in client service and project execution. The SAM provides a service that focuses on putting the customer first & delivering against agreed SLA’s and KPI’s at all times. This role involves managing client’s projects from start to finish ensuring they are flawlessly moved through the business. Projects will span many disciplines, such as POS, OOH, Digital, Events, Social, PR & larger strategic campaign briefs.

We require a pro-active, and energised SAM who can hit the ground running working on some of the best brands in beauty.

Primary Objectives

  • Project manage creative jobs successfully from start to finish paying attention to detail and being mindful of client requirements
  • Ensure creative work is delivered on time, to budget and meets the client briefs. Aim to exceed client expectations.
  • Understand current creative jobs, keeping online WIP up to date with accurate information.
  • Become the client’s day to day strategic partner, maintaining high client service levels whilst successfully managing expectations.
  • Utilise and fully understand our Workstream X system, assisting clients with any queries.
  • Build and develop excellent relationships with the production teams to ensure there is a two-way flow of information, and both teams are working together to deliver for the client.
  • Translate business challenges into effective creative briefs and ensure the work is grounded in consumer insight and market trends.
  • Understand consumer behaviour and purchasing drivers within Health & Beauty. Keep up with beauty, wellness and skincare trends.

Key responsibilities

  • Become the client’s day to day strategic partner. Attend client briefing meetings as and when required. Have a role in offering advice and support.
  • Identify opportunities for additional projects, services, and long-term partnerships that increase account revenue and profitability
  • Spend time in stores viewing campaigns and consider how they have been implemented and offer ideas for improvements etc.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness & produce case studies for clients. Provide recommendations to clients on how these findings can be used to optimise future activity.
  • Mentor junior account team members, supporting their progression and improving team capability

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience working within an agency environment working across multiple marketing channels.
  • Develop strong understanding of retailer guidelines, particularly pharmacies. Ability to translate client creative briefs to be compliant with these.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop positive relationships both internally and externally.
  • Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise work to meet client needs.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly around product claims and legal text.
  • A passion for quality. We want to be the best in store.
  • Confident in front of clients and back of house teams.
  • Demonstrates a positive and ‘can do’ approach at all times.
  • Ability to be adaptable to business needs quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various timelines successfully.
