Creative Session Support Volunteer
Volunteer Opportunity: Support Worker for Creative Sessions
We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to support our weekly creative sessions for people with moderate to severe mental health conditions.
This is a practical, hands-on role, helping our sessions run smoothly by maintaining a welcoming, organised, and enjoyable creative environment. You won’t be expected to facilitate art activities, but your role will be vital in keeping the space engaging and efficient for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- Help keep the creative space clean, organised, and welcoming throughout the session
- Wash up, tidy work areas, and ensure workstations are maintained
- Organise art materials and equipment, keeping them clean, well-stocked, and ready for use
- Empty bins and maintain a safe, tidy environment
- Support staff with setting up and clearing away during sessions
- Assist with any general practical tasks as required

No previous experience in art or mental health is required, though experience or an interest in these areas would be beneficial. Full induction and support will be provided.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role, which we will facilitate.
