Creative Strategist
London (Hybrid)
We're currently recruiting on behalf of an award-winning and rapidly growing agency for a Creative Strategist to join their team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and creatively driven strategist to play a key role in shaping campaigns for some of the world's most recognisable brands. Working at the intersection of insight, culture, and storytelling, you'll help develop strategic narratives, creative concepts, and pitch-winning ideas across social, influencer, and content marketing. The successful candidate will combine strong strategic thinking with creative instinct, have a passion for social media and culture, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development of new business pitches and RFP responses
- Analyse brands, audiences, competitors, and cultural trends to inform strategic thinking
- Develop clear and compelling strategic narratives that guide creative output
- Ensure campaign ideas align with brand objectives, positioning, and audience needs
- Contribute to the development of creative concepts grounded in insight and strategy
- Write and shape creative briefs that provide clear direction to internal creative teams
- Build engaging presentations and pitch decks with strong storytelling and structure
- Collaborate with social, influencer, creative, and production teams to bring ideas to life
- Conduct research into audiences, platform behaviours, content trends, and creator culture
- Identify emerging opportunities across social platforms, creators, and content formats
- Review campaign performance and apply key learnings to future strategies and recommendations
- Present ideas and strategic thinking confidently to both internal stakeholders and clients
- Support concept development across a variety of client projects and new business opportunities

- Previous experience in a Creative Strategist, Strategist, Planner, or similar role
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, creator culture, influencer marketing, and digital trends
- Ability to translate audience insights and research into clear strategic frameworks
- Strong creative judgement with experience developing campaign ideas and concepts
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with experience creating engaging pitch decks
- Confident communicator with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
- Highly collaborative approach with experience working across multiple teams and disciplines
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced agency or client-facing environment
- Passion for social media, culture, emerging trends, and creative marketing
- A portfolio showcasing strategic and creative work would be advantageous
