Creative Strategist (United Kingdom)

About The Role

We are currently hiring Creative Strategists to manage the creative production process for our portfolio of brands at BM Digital.

As a Creative Strategist, you will be responsible for managing the video production and iteration process end-to-end—from concept, scriptwriting, to live testing on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Ads.

Creative Strategists are the storytellers behind each video ad. This role demands a balance of creativity and analysis, enabling you to:

  • Communicate a clear message through short-form video.
  • Optimise content for different audiences.
  • Craft compelling stories using video and written language.
  • Work alongside content creators and video editors, demonstrating proficiency in visual communication and pacing.

Responsibilities

You will create high-performing video ads that drive client revenue growth by:

  • Leveraging data, research, and creative insights to develop effective creative strategy.
  • Analysing performance data across platforms like Atria, Meta Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Conducting consumer, product, and competitor research using accessible tools and resources.
  • Collaborating with Post-Production, Production, and your Creative Strategy Lead to produce high-quality videos.
  • Writing scripts and copy for video, static image ads, and email campaigns.
  • Ensuring visuals align with the outlined creative strategy.
  • Providing feedback aligned with the creative strategy of the ad.
  • Executing on feedback received from your Creative Strategy Lead.
  • Analysing creative test results and iterating based on insights.
  • Developing weekly strategic account planning (with oversight from your Creative Strategy Lead).
  • Identifying top-performing creative concepts using data and creative analysis.
  • Recognising effective trends and concepts within the social media ecosystem.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in paid social or Direct Response marketing (works samples are highly preferred).
  • Ability to learn efficiently from training and examples, while quickly executing new skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication—with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Analytical mindset, enabling you to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, including:
    • Managing multiple projects concurrently.
    • Adhering to deadlines.
    • Adapting to changing priorities.
  • Deep understanding of social media (active frequent user of platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager or similarly TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat ad platforms.
  • Proficiency in working across Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Adaptability to evolving industry trends and best practices.

Additional Details

  • Full-time, remote position.
  • Compensation range: $100K–$280K USD (inclusive of base salary, performance bonus, and equity).
