Job Introduction
Role Purpose
The Creative Traffic Manager is responsible for the day-to-day planning, prioritisation and allocation of creative work across the Creative team, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and resources are utilised effectively. Working closely with the Head of Creative Projects & Operations, the role oversees creative workflow, manages team capacity and provides operational insight to support effective planning and decision-making. Through proactive stakeholder management and continuous process improvement, the Creative Traffic Manager enables the Creative team to deliver high-quality work on time and at pace.
Traffic Management & Resource Planning
- Own the day-to-day trafficking of creative work across the Creative teams, allocating tasks according to skills, priorities and capacity.
- Assess and validate incoming creative briefs, ensuring requirements are complete and assigning appropriate resource.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of creative requests, monitoring progress, timelines and delivery.
- Monitor team workload and capacity, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and recommending reprioritisation where required.
- Coordinate freelance resource where required, including onboarding, documentation, purchase orders and scheduling.
- Escalate delivery risks, resource constraints and priority conflicts, providing practical recommendations.

Workflow & Process Management
- Maintain and continuously improve day-to-day creative workflows to maximise efficiency, visibility and consistency.
- Administer and optimise monday.com, including workflows, automations, dashboards, templates and reporting.
- Maintain creative intake forms and briefing templates to improve the quality and consistency of requests.
- Ensure project data is accurate and up to date to support reporting, forecasting and resource planning.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Build strong collaborative relationships across Creative and key business stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project scheduling, workload planning and delivery timelines.
- Communicate priorities, capacity updates and scheduling changes clearly, managing expectations and balancing competing business needs.
Reporting & Operational Insight
- Produce regular reporting on team capacity, project status, resource utilisation and workflow performance.
- Maintain dashboards that provide Creative Leadership with visibility of workload, delivery timelines and operational risks.
- Provide operational insights and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and delivery performance.

Leadership
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support for the Creative Coordinator, ensuring consistent administration of creative workflows and supporting their development.
- Champion consistent ways of working and a collaborative, solutions-focused team culture.
Skills & Experience
- Experience managing creative workflows within an in-house creative team, agency or marketing environment.
- Experience in resource planning, traffic management or creative project coordination.
- Experience using monday.com or similar workflow management platforms.
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workload and capacity data.
- Calm, proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
