Your Role at ShopYourLikes: The Creator Acquisition Manager, is based in London, is a part of the commercial tea,and is the primary engine behind our UK creator growth. This position bridges the gap between identifying high-potential talent and converting them into high-performing creators. You’ll own the "first impression" of SYL, sourcing creators who fit our Ideal Creator Profile (ICP) and ensure they are onboarded with the knowledge they need to deliver engagement for our brand partners. This is a high-impact role for someone who loves the "hunt" of recruitment but has the strategic mindset to understand how a creator’s audience translates into social commerce success.
Core Responsibilities
- High-Velocity Sourcing & Recruitment The Talent Scout: Own the end-to-end recruitment process across key verticals, using tools like Modash / CreatorIQ to identify creators who align with both our internal goals and specific advertiser briefs. Quality Control: Evaluate creator quality, audience authenticity, and monetization potential to ensure every new addition strengthens our ecosystem.
- Expert Onboarding & Activation The Architect of Success: Lead the onboarding journey, converting prospective creators into active partners through compelling education on affiliate marketing best practices and performance campaigns. Retention Focus: Ensure new creators don't just sign up but stay. You’ll provide the initial performance guidance and "toolkits" needed to help them see their first revenue milestones quickly. Keep them motivated to link via SYL on a CPA basis and work towards the overall revenue target. Community Engagement: Support the planning and execution of creator workshops and events, ensuring our "on-the-ground" presence in the UK is felt and valued.
- Commercial Alignment & Performance Brand Matching: Work closely with the wider teams to match your newly acquired creators with high-impact brand opportunities. Data-Driven Growth: Monitor the performance of your "cohorts" - analysing which acquisition channels and creator types are driving the most revenue. Internal Feedback Loop: Collaborate with internal teams to share creator feedback, ensuring our platform and resources evolve to meet the needs of the modern creator. Market Intel: Stay "in the know" regarding competitor moves and social commerce trends to ensure SYL’s offering remains the most competitive in the UK market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
