37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Role Overview
To lead the effective operational delivery of the organisation’s credentialing processes, ensuring all practising consultants and clinicians are appropriately vetted, compliant with regulatory standards, and aligned with organisational requirements. The role supports patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical governance through robust, consistent, and well-managed credentialing practices.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Leading the day-to-day delivery of credentialing activity through effective team management and oversight.
- Maintaining oversight of credentialing workflows, ensuring consistency and adherence to agreed standards.
- Providing day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to the credentialing team.
- Allocating and prioritising workload to ensure effective and timely delivery of credentialing services.
- Monitoring performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development to team members.
- Ensuring practitioner records are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the organisation in meeting regulatory standards (e.g. CQC) relating to credentialing and clinical governance.
- Escalating complex or high-risk issues through appropriate governance channels.
- Building effective working relationships with consultants, clinical leaders, and internal stakeholders.
- Working closely with the Medical Director and governance forums to support resolution of complex or sensitive cases.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Experience working in credentialing, clinical governance, or a regulated healthcare environment.
- Experience managing complex administrative or compliance processes.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, ideally within a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information and situations with professionalism.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to identify risks and escalate appropriately.
