As a permanent, full-time Credit & Collections Lead in Dunmurry, Belfast, Northern Ireland, you will be tasked with ensuring the financial health of our customer relationships.
Your Mission

In this role, you will:
- Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts.
- Ensure accurate recording of payments and timely dispute resolution.
- Coach and support colleagues to uphold operational standards.
- Manage a team, monitor performance, and maintain compliance.

- Credit Review & Compliance
- Carry out credit checks adhering to Survitec’s protocols, documenting outcomes accurately and promptly.

Dispute Resolution & Invoicing
- Manage and resolve customer disputes to ensure invoices are settled on time and in full.
- Persuade customers to meet payment obligations, negotiating repayment plans based on their financial situation and within authority levels.

Overdue Account Management
- Track and monitor overdue accounts using automated systems.
- Communicate with customers via mail or phone to address reasons for delinquency.

Customer Communication & Account Advisement
- Resolve customer queries regarding account discrepancies, providing necessary guidance for debt repayment.

Workload & Performance Management
- Maintain performance metrics and SLAs.
- Supervise team performance, set objectives and hold members accountable, addressing underperformance through progressive intervention.

Compliance & Auditing
- Monitor and report on team behaviours, ensuring compliance with Survitec policies and regulatory requirements.
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in a similar credit/collections or finance function.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.

Desirable Criteria
- A third-level qualification in Finance.
- Experience within a global shared service centre.
