Credit Collections Apprentice
Location: Warwick CV34 5YA,
Salary: Up to £21,000 depending on experience
Volvo Financial Services is a vital part of that journey, supporting Volvo Group customers and dealers across the UK and Ireland. Responsible for financial solutions that help businesses invest, grow, and move forward with confidence.
Reporting directly to the Collections Manager, you will work alongside two Senior Collections Officers and a Collections Officer. You will be supporting the day-to-day running of the Collections department, combining customer contact, account maintenance and account administration. You will also collaborate with a range of internal teams across the Group, including Credit, Customer Service and Finance. What you will do Contact customers by telephone and email to discuss overdue balances and agree on suitable next steps Assist with managing direct debit mandates, amendments and cancellations. Investigate payment issues, reconcile accounts and help resolve queries and disputes Raise unresolved cases and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues Assist with reporting, unallocated payments, and other routine operational tasks Contribute ideas to process improvement and digital tools, including Power Platform solutions Who are you? GCSE grade 4, or equivalent, in Maths and English Confident in both verbal and written communication Comfortable having difficult conversations. Detail-focused and willing to investigate issues thoroughly Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Excel with an interest in learning new systems Experience in customer service is an advantage, but not necessary What we can offer: Pension scheme: We offer a matched pension scheme of up to 5% of your salary.
