Looking to build your career with one of the world's leading specialist insurers? We're recruiting on behalf of a prestigious FTSE-listed insurance company for a Credit Control Administrator to join their highly successful After the Event (ATE) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a respected financial services organisation while working in a collaborative, supportive environment.
The ATE team works alongside law firms, insurers and business partners to provide specialist legal expenses insurance, helping individuals and businesses access justice. As part of this high-performing team, you'll play an important role in ensuring premium income is collected efficiently, financial records remain accurate, and member firms receive an outstanding level of service.

What you'll be doing:
- Managing credit control activities and proactively chasing outstanding premiums
- Processing high volumes of financial transactions and allocating daily BACS receipts
- Investigating and resolving payment and premium queries from law firms
- Supporting debt management and debt recovery processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records and audit trails
- Responding to remittance and payment enquiries
- Working closely with underwriting, claims, finance and operations teams to resolve queries
- Building strong relationships with solicitors, insurers and business partners through professional telephone and email communication
- Contributing to the smooth running and continued success of the ATE portfolio
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in credit control, finance administration or accounts receivable
- Good Excel skills
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
