About the company

At Fora, we're reimagining what the workplace can be.

We create inspiring, design-led spaces that blend hospitality, community, and wellbeing—so people can work productively, creatively, and happily.

From our first London workspace over 20 years ago, we've grown to 60+ locations across the UK supporting 30,000+ members and partnering with trailblazing brands like Ocado, The British Fashion Council, and Pangaia.

Backed by The Office Group, Blackstone, and Brockton Capital, we're growing fast and pioneering conscious design, sustainable construction, and workspaces that empower people to work in their own unique way.

At Fora, we're not just shaping workplaces—we're shaping the future of work.

We're looking for someone who can take full ownership of collections across a complex, fast-paced customer book—protecting cash, reducing aged debt, and building strong, commercial relationships with our clients.

As our finance function continues to evolve—with automation and AI transforming how we work—you'll move beyond routine tasks and into the areas that really matter: complex cases, judgement-led decisions, and continuous improvement.

The Role

This role is 4 days in the office and 1 day WFA.

You'll sit at the heart of our Finance team, leading Credit Control across a multi-site portfolio while supporting the ongoing development of the function. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational oversight with reporting, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

The role is about more than chasing debt—you'll be:

  • Leading and developing a small Credit Control team
  • Owning month-end Credit Control activities and investor reporting
  • Managing escalations, complex accounts, and collection risk
  • Partnering with Finance, Sales, Operations, Billing, and Legal teams
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and automation

Key Responsibilities

Cash & Collections Ownership

  • Proactively manage overdue balances across the customer book
  • Build strong customer relationships while ensuring cash is protected
  • Handle escalations, payment plans, and complex accounts with confidence and sound judgement
  • Support collection strategy, delinquency management, and risk mitigation across the portfolio
  • Work closely with Legal on collection matters and compliance requirements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
