Looking to build your career in Credit Control? Our client is seeking a Credit Controller to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional with previous credit control experience who is eager to develop their career in a supportive and growing organisation.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where you will:
- Manage customer accounts and collect outstanding debt.
- Chase overdue payments via telephone and email.
- Handle cash allocation and post customer receipts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve account queries.
- Liaise with internal departments to address invoice discrepancies.
- Prepare aged debt reports.
- Support month-end and year-end finance processes.
- Maintain accurate customer account records.
- Assist with general accounts receivable administration.

You will also foster positive relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong communication skills. Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable (1–2 years ideal).
- A strong understanding of debt collection, cash allocation, and account reconciliations.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and a confident, professional telephone manner.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads efficiently.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
