Credit Controller

Credit Controller – Lomondgate Depot, Aggreko

About the Role

As a Credit Controller based in our Lomondgate depot, your role is critical. You’ll safeguard the organisation’s financial health by:

  • Managing credit risk effectively
  • Ensuring accurate, timely accounts receivable processes
  • Driving outstanding debt collection through analysis, proactive engagement, and stakeholder collaboration

What You’ll Do

Financial & Operational Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, logging all collections activity and account data in the system
  • Proactively manage customer accounts, chasing outstanding debt via phone, email, and system tracking to enforce agreed payment terms
  • Support bad debt processes, including monitoring, reporting, and write-offs
  • Log and resolve customer queries efficiently, maintaining clear documentation of all communications

Process & Team Engagement

  • Contribute to debtor review processes, including weekly calls and ongoing credit assessments
  • Assist with new account setups and ongoing credit limit reviews

What You Bring

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in credit control and collections, with a strong track record in managing customer accounts
  • Solid understanding of credit checking processes and risk assessment principles
  • Highly organised, with strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Confident using multiple systems (SAP, Bespoke Credit Control Tools etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Customer-focused professional with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
