Unique Caribbean Holidays is seeking a Credit Controller to manage a rigorous credit control process, focusing on collections and cash applications for a successful Tour Operator in both B2C and B2B channels.

About the Role

This is a crucial position within a closely knit Finance team supporting a fantastic brand. We are looking for someone who is creative, passionate, has an excellent eye for detail, and enjoys building relationships internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adopt and administer the Company’s credit control policies across our B2B and B2C channels
  • Process large amounts of data to prepare aged debtor reports and create collection plans
  • Build and develop relationships with Trade consortia finance teams to resolve queries and agree collections
  • Work with internal teams to ensure payments have been received prior to tickets being issued and cancellation calculations are in line with Company policy
  • Monitor and action the departmental mailbox that is the recipient of requests cost amendments, refunds, and customer call backs
  • Generating appropriate documentation following cash application

  • Possession of a positive attitude, great telephone manner, excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • Ability to process large volume of data to prepare reports
  • Attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential
