Role Overview
The Credit Controller will oversee the company’s credit control function, ensuring compliance with payment terms, minimising late payments, and reducing the risk of bad debts. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
- Perform credit checks and assessments for both new and existing customers
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on invoices, reminders, and statement reconciliations
- Negotiate payment plans and resolve overdue accounts
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account updates
- Generate regular reports on aged debt and collection activity
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to address account-related issues
- Ensure adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and industry standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in credit control operations
