Take ownership of your career with an opportunity to join a well-established business as a Credit Controller, where you'll play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and building strong customer relationships. This permanent position is fully office based in Newbridge and offers a salary of 31,000.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team. You'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, reducing aged debt and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments while building positive relationships with customers and supporting the wider finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the sales ledger.
  • Proactively chase outstanding payments by telephone and email.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to resolve payment queries.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and allocate incoming cash.
  • Monitor aged debt and produce regular debtor reports.
  • Escalate overdue or high-risk accounts where appropriate.
  • Support month-end processes and collaborate with the wider finance team.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a Credit Controller or similar Accounts Receivable role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
