Credit Controller
Experienced Credit Controller – Rochdale
We are working with a thriving business in the Rochdale area to recruit a qualified Credit Controller to join their established team.
About the Role
As Credit Controller, you will:
- Maintain accurate and organised billing and payment records
- Proactively chase overdue invoices
- Handle various ad hoc accounts and administration duties
The role requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as this is the core tool for all team administers and finance tasks.

Key Duties
To excel in this role, you must:
- Chase overdue invoices via phone, email and letters
- Generate duplicate invoices as required
- Process and allocate customer payments
- Support Sales Ledger duties
- Provide cross-departmental ad hoc finance and admin assistance
- Maintain accurate administrative records
The environment is fast-paced with dynamic tasks, supporting all areas of finance and administration.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within a busy, high-pressure setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (essential)
- Knowledge of Sage is advantageous but not mandatory
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workloads effectively
