Credit Controller

Hybrid Working | £32,000-£38,000 + Benefits | Career Progression

We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing professional services business that is looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to join its expanding finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic B2B organisation where you'll take ownership of the credit control function, helping to maximise cash collection, reduce aged debt and build strong client relationships. Experience within professional services, subscription-based businesses or accountancy services would be highly advantageous.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end-to-end credit control process across a portfolio of B2B clients.
  • Chasing outstanding payments via telephone and email.
  • Reconciling customer accounts and resolving invoice queries.
  • Monitoring aged debt and proactively managing credit risk.
  • Producing debtor reports and supporting cash flow forecasting.
  • Negotiating payment plans where appropriate.
  • Working closely with finance and operational teams to resolve billing issues.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve credit control processes and reduce debtor days.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
