Credit Controller
Credit Controller – Full-Time Role
We’re looking for a confident self-starter with a positive can-do-attitude to join our expanding team in Hove, near Brighton.
About the Role
You’ll bring expertise in consumer credit control with strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and a high level of attention to detail.

Role & Responsibilities
Job Title: Credit Controller Salary: £27,000 Start Date: Available immediately for the right candidate Location: Hove, Brighton (based in the office 4 out of 5 working days, must live within commutable distance)
Key Duties Include:
- Managing the aged debt book across all regions
- Maintaining aged debt at appropriate levels
- Actively reducing default rates
- Chasing payments via telephone and email for overdue invoices
- Liasing with customers and third-party finance providers to ensure excellent service
- Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely reconciliation
- Managing cash allocation
- Resolving internal and external queries
- Running daily payment processes
- Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience Required
- Essential: Experience in credit control
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident telephone presence
- Good mathematical and computer skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
