Our UK Accounts Receivable (AR) team has been recognised as a Centre of Excellence following years of sustained performance improvements. Due to the team’s expanded regional responsibilities—supporting customers across the EMEA region—we are seeking skilled Collections Professionals to drive timely cash collection and maintain financial control.

- Contact customers via phone and email, negotiating payment plans and resolving disputes while maintaining professional and persistent communication.
- Apply a structured call and follow-up cadence to priority/high-risk accounts, escalating emergent credit risks if required.
- Reconcile accounts—including high-volume/complex balances—while investigating and resolving discrepancies such as:
- Invoice queries
- Short payments
- Unapplied cash piles
- Credits and debits
- Collaborate with Billing, Sales, and Customer Service to remove payment obstacles.
- Maintain accurate collection notes in ERP and collection-specific systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
