Our client is a market-leading construction business based between Pudsey and Bradford. As a private equity-owned Group of companies, it has achieved rapid growth through acquisitions.
An exciting opportunity arises due to the implementation of a new ERP system (Sage Intact), requiring skilled professionals to support these changes.

You will report to the Credit Control Manager and be responsible for the credit control functions of two Group companies. Key tasks include:
- Ensuring debts are collected on time and in full
- Chasing overdue debts to minimise the risk of write-offs
- Maintaining strong relationships with key customer contacts
- Posting cash receipts to the ledger and reconciling balances
- Issuing monthly customer statements, plus ad-hoc requests
- Conducting necessary credit checks and ensuring customers stay within their insured limits
- Building internal relationships with sales managers
- Raising payment applications to contractors and ensuring agreed payment terms are adhered to
- Reconciling and posting retention balances correctly
- Pursuing retention payments from contractors—both after Final Accounts completion and again 12-18 months later, depending on contract terms

Requirements
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Recent experience in credit control
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- The capability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Job Offer
- Salary range: £30,000 – £33,000 (dependent on experience)
- Flexible hours (standard hours: 8:30am – 5pm, but negotiable)
- Full-time or part-time (part-time must be over 5 days per week)

- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service)
