About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Control professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and is passionate about delivering outstanding service.
You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of accounts, maintaining regular contact with clients, resolving account queries, and ensuring payments are collected in line with agreed terms.
What you will be doing as the Credit Controller
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, proactively collecting outstanding payments to reduce aged debt
- Build strong relationships with customers – resolving account queries and disputes efficiently
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and manage cash allocation
- Issue invoices, statements, reminder letters and other account documentation
- Monitor aged debt reports, lead arrears review meetings and provide regular updates on collection performance
- Work collaboratively with Finance and other internal teams to resolve queries and support continuous improvement of collection KPIs

About you
- At least 1-year recent Credit Control experience – ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong account reconciliation, cash allocation and query resolution skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to work independently and manage challenging situations
