About The Role
Benefact Group, are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Gloucester office.
As a Credit Controller you will provide an effective professional credit control service to the business, maximising performance and effectively contributing to company goals.

What you'll be doing
- Maintain up to date worksheets to provide performance figures and effectively manage collection activity to maximise cash collection and minimise bad debt.
- Communicate and liaise with internal and external contacts, providing a prompt and accurate service mostly via telephone.
- Produce Regional reports highlighting credit performance results and key issues.
- Promptly and accurately escalate credit issues as appropriate
- Deliver accurate MI within defined timescales.
- Produce appropriate documentation to be used in both internal and external settings ensuring quality is in line with requirements.
- Assist as required with Ad hoc projects.

What you'll need to have
- Experience in a credit control role would be hugely advantageous
- Effective negotiation skills utilised with brokers, customers, underwriters and BDM’s
- Effective relationship building with intermediaries and customers
- Familiar with direct debit collections by BACS
What makes you stand out
- Certificate in Credit Management or level 3 Diploma in Credit Management
- Previous credit control experience within the financial services industry
