The Opportunity:
A prestigious, London-based luxury fashion group known for its distinctive, globally recognized designs is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join its dynamic Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-moving fashion environment and wants to develop their career within a growing luxury brand group.
Key Responsibilities

- Credit Risk & Relationship Management: Monitor credit exposure for key accounts and flag risks proactively. The individual will collaborate closely with the Sales and wholesale teams to manage account holds and disputes seamlessly, preserving vital commercial relationships.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve invoice queries, short payments, and claims. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with logistics, wholesale, and customer service teams to address root-cause issues and maintain a clear dispute log.

Assist with month-end close (including AR balances and bad debt provisioning), contribute to cash flow forecasting, and support continuous process improvements across both brands.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
