Credit Control Supervisor
Location: City of London - 4 days per week on-site
Salary: £44,000 Per Annum
Contract: 12 months FTC
We are partnering with a fast-growing, design-led workspace provider seeking a Credit Control Supervisor to strengthen their finance team during a period of transformation.
This is a key leadership role within a dynamic, multi-site organisation operating in the hospitality, retail, hotel, and real estate sectors. You will manage a small credit control team while owning month-end close activities, investor reporting, customer relationships, and risk mitigation in a high-volume, complex ledger environment.
About the Role
As Credit Control Supervisor, you will report to the Head of Transactional Finance and play a hands-on leadership role in credit control operations. You will lead a small team, drive process improvements, and ensure robust collections, billing, and compliance processes while supporting the wider finance transformation. This is a visible position with exposure to senior stakeholders and investors.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage all credit control-related month-end close activities and prepare monthly debt packs for investors.
- Lead a team of 2-3 (including mentoring the Senior Credit Controller), providing coaching, performance management, and KPI tracking.
- Manage key customer and internal stakeholder relationships (Sales, Building Managers, Billing, and Legal) to resolve issues and ensure timely billing, onboarding, and collections.
- Identify and mitigate credit risks, support compliance, and flag delinquency issues to the CFO.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives within credit control processes.
- Collaborate across the business to support dilapidations, churn, and overall financial governance.

Requirements
- Proven credit control leadership experience in a complex, multi-site organisation (hospitality, retail, hotel, or real estate sectors strongly preferred).
- Experience managing a sizable ledger and high-volume customer base, with the ability to manage both upwards (senior stakeholders) and downwards (team leadership).
- Strong month-end close and financial reporting skills, with advanced MS Excel proficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Team-oriented with a strong cultural and team fit.
- Immediate or short notice availability preferred.
Desirable
- Familiarity with SAP Business ByDesign and/or Salesforce.
- Experience in finance transformation or process improvement projects.
- Investor reporting or CICM qualification.
