Credit Controller – 12 Month Fixed Term
Location & Hours
- Location: Telford | Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)
- Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
- Hours: Monday–Friday (40 hours)

About the Role
Müller, a family-owned business with 31,000+ employees across Europe, specialises in leading dairy products (yogurts, desserts, butter, flavoured milk, and private-label brands). As part of the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller, the UK & Ireland team invites applications for a Credit Controller (12-month fixed term), playing a critical role in cash flow, debt management, and customer relationships within the fast-paced FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactive debt collection via phone and email to reduce Day Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger
- Ensure payments align with agreed payment terms
- Investigate and resolve invoice, pricing, and delivery queries
- Build relationships with internal teams and external customers
- Monitor credit limits and escalate risks as needed
- Support month-end processes and reporting
- Deliver high standards of customer service

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in credit control, finance, or FMCG/banking
- Knowledge of SAP/AS400 (desirable but not essential)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Sound understanding of finance processes
- Intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
