Credit Controller
Credit Controller – Fixed Term (9 Months) – Hybrid Role
Company Overview
Join a highly prestigious and well-respected Business Management Consultancy during your initial 9-month temporary assignment in a newly created Credit Controller role.
Operating within a close-knit team, you’ll report directly to the Credit Control Manager, supported by a broader finance team (Accounts Payable, Billing, Finance Operations, and more). The role offers a flexible hybrid model, with 1–2 days per week in their modern Central London office and the remainder worked remotely.
Role Responsibilities
As part of this dynamic team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Credit Control Manager and Team Leader with daily administrative tasks
- Resolving internal and external queries promptly
- Preparing a quarterly review of country commentary for all invoices over 180 days
- Actively managing and resolving credit balances/unassigned cash across the EMEA region, with strict adherence to legal documentation requirements
- Assisting in the month-end close process from an Accounts Receivable (AR) perspective
- Contributing to time-sensitive projects as required
- Collaborating with the legal team on collection matters where necessary
- Liasising closely with Billing and Accounts Payable (AP) teams to resolve queries and escalate issues effectively
- Specially managing EMEA-wide client accounts requiring additional assistance

Role Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Credit Control Admin, Credit Controller, or Finance Assistant)
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and meticulous attitude, with a strong commitment to detail and an outstanding work ethic
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to liaise confidently with stakeholders across all business levels
- Ability to work flexibly, adapt quickly, and thrive under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong Excel skills and experience with Accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, or Xero)
