Credit Controller | Initial 3-Month Contract | Immediate Start
Altum Consulting are partnering with a life sciences business to appoint an experienced Credit Controller on an initial 3-month contract. This role sits within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment where delivering an exceptional B2C experience is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage credit control processes, including chasing overdue payments via phone
- Handle customer queries and resolve payment issues efficiently and professionally
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate customer records
- Proactively collect outstanding funds while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance controls and efficiency
- Support month-end activities and reporting as required

Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years' experience in credit control or accounts receivable, ideally within a B2C environment
- Strong reconciliation skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to balance collections with a premium customer experience
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar
