Purpose of the Job Join us at a key moment as we transform how we make credit decisions — becoming faster, smarter, and more data-driven. As a Credit Decision Analyst, you’ll work hands-on with decision engines, turning strategy and data into real-time decision logic that directly impacts customer outcomes and business performance.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of credit risk, analytics, and technology — with real ownership and the opportunity to shape the future of decisioning.
Responsibilities of the Job - Design, implement, and maintain credit decisioning strategies within the bank’s decision engine
Translate credit risk policies, models, and business strategies into decision rules and logic Monitor and analyze decision performance (e.g. decision outcome, approval rates, conversion) and identify optimization opportunities Support development and implementation of new credit strategies (e.g. underwriting, pricing, affordability) Collaborate with Credit Risk, Data Science, and Digital teams to ensure consistent and effective decision flows Ensure decision logic is documented, traceable, and aligned with internal governance and regulatory requirements Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of decision processes Support testing, validation, and deployment of decision strategies in line with agreed frameworks Act as a subject matter expert in credit decisioning and support stakeholders with insights and guidance

Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Experience/Demonstrated Competencies - 2+ years of experience in credit risk, decisioning, analytics, or retail banking
Experience working with credit decision engines Experience analyzing credit performance and supporting strategy development Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or data analysis tools Exposure to credit risk models, scorecards, or underwriting processes Experience working in cross-functional environments involving Credit and Digital
Language Competencies - Fluency in English
Knowledge required - Understanding of credit risk strategy, underwriting principles, and credit lifecycle
Hands on experience of Decision engine systems and rule-based systems Understanding of scorecards, risk models, and their application in decisioning Knowledge of key credit performance metrics (e.g. approval rate, default rate, profitability) Understanding of data structures and datasets used in credit decisioning Awareness of regulatory requirements and governance related to credit decisioning Understanding of testing frameworks and performance monitoring in decision strategies Knowledge of how decisioning interacts with customer journeys and commercial objectives
