Credit Risk Analyst - Mortgages
JSS have partnered with a specialist Mortgage Lender on the search for a Credit Risk Analyst to be based out of their London office. This role involves monitoring portfolio performance and implementing changes to credit policy and decisioning, with the ideal candidate coming from a credit risk background within the mortgages space.
Responsibilities Review and analyse loans within portfolio Ensure lending criteria are reflected in underwriting processes and support further development of lending criteria Monitor new business pipeline and communicate with adjacent teams Quality assessment of underwriting decisions and general consistency checks Reporting on portfolio, including exceptions and risk trends Development of automated decisioning and stress test scenarios

Requirements Strong knowledge of mortgage products, including regulations and underwriting processes Strong experience of credit risk within mortgages sector Analytical and quantitative skills, including portfolio analysis and risk modelling
