Crime Paralegal
Crime Paralegal - West Midlands - Hybrid Working - Privately funded Crime
A well-established and highly regarded international criminal defence firm is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Crime Paralegal to join their growing and expert team in the Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of serious criminal matters, supporting fee earners on a privately funded caseload.
You will play a key role in:
- Preparing cases
- Liaising with clients
- Assisting on matters from police station stage through to trial
Working within a busy and supportive team, this role offers:
- Excellent exposure to high-quality work
- A clear pathway for progression within criminal law
The Ideal Candidate
The firm is looking for candidates with:
- 2+ years of previous experience within criminal law (e.g., Paralegal, Caseworker)
- A strong understanding of criminal procedure
- Confidence in assisting fee earners with a varied caseload
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and client care abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, reliable attitude
- Enthusiasm to develop a long-term career in criminal law
- Willingness to travel across the Midlands when required
