Criminal Defence & Civil Litigation Solicitor – Hybrid Working
London or Midlands
A leading international firm is seeking a motivated Solicitor (circa 2 years Post-Qualification Experience) to join their established Crime and Civil Litigation team in their London or Midlands office.
About the Role
You will handle a diverse caseload, blending:
- Privately funded criminal defence work
- A variety of civil litigation matters, including:
- Contract disputes
- General civil claims
- Personal injury cases
This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, supportive environment, fostering autonomy while contributing to team success and refining your expertise.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (2 years PQE, flexible for the right candidate)
- Strong criminal law experience (essential)
- Desirable: Experience in:
- Civil litigation (e.g., contract disputes, general civil claims, personal injury)
- Confident in managing a self-driven caseload independently
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Comfortable with a hybrid working pattern and occasional UK travel (approx. one overnight stay per month)
- Proactive, organised, and team-focused
- Experienced in managing relationships with:
- High-net-worth individuals
- Privately paying clients
