The Role

Criminal Duty Solicitor - Central and South London - Excellent Benefits + Out of hours rate

This is a superb opportunity for junior or experienced Criminal Duty Solicitor to join a leading ranked Legal 500 law firm offering specialist Criminal Defence in London.

The firm is recognised nationally for its outstanding client care, high-quality representation, and major involvement in high-profile cases.

Due to their planned expansion and commitment to excellent quality of work, they are looking for an additional Duty Solicitor to join their Central or South London team.

The firm is regularly instructed in a wide range of general crime and serious matters including murder, terrorism, complex drug conspiracies, serious sexual offences, and complex and high value frauds.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A Criminal Solicitor with a solid background in Criminal Defence
  • Duty Accredited (or willingness to work towards immediately)
  • Desire to gain exposure to serious and complex crime in a leading firm
  • A passionate approach to both clients and workload
  • Motivated to contribute to the firm's Duty and out of hours rota
  • Experience working with multiple clients simultaneously
  • Strong legal skills with an eye for detail and meticulous client care
  • Excellent organisation, time-management, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work 5 days a week in Central London office
