Senior CRM Manager / CRM Lead
12-month FTC
Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote, plus flexible working)
A leading consumer technology business is seeking an experienced CRM leader to drive the next phase of its customer engagement strategy.
Reporting into the Head of Performance Marketing, this is a high-impact role with responsibility for shaping and evolving CRM performance across the entire customer lifecycle.
You'll work with a rich and complex customer dataset, leveraging data, automation, personalisation, and emerging technologies to deliver measurable commercial outcomes and exceptional customer experiences.
This is far more than a campaign delivery role. The successful candidate will play a key part in defining how CRM contributes to business growth, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage through intelligent, insight-led customer communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own CRM performance across the customer journey, delivering against commercial and engagement objectives
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities across acquisition, conversion, retention, and reactivation
- Lead the development and optimisation of customer segmentation strategies
- Design and enhance personalised customer journeys, trigger-based communications, and lifecycle programmes
- Champion a structured test-and-learn culture, building scalable frameworks that drive continuous improvement
- Develop meaningful reporting and performance dashboards to support optimisation and decision-making
- Ensure the effective validation and monitoring of automated customer journeys and trigger campaigns
- Explore and implement new technologies, channels, and capabilities that improve CRM effectiveness and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with marketing, analytics, commercial, and product teams to deliver an integrated, customer-centric strategy.

About You:

- Proven CRM leadership experience with a strong track record of delivering successful multi-channel campaigns
- Experience owning CRM performance and driving measurable commercial results
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and personalisation strategies
- Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Confident in influencing stakeholders and helping shape strategic direction
- Passionate about the evolving CRM landscape, including automation, AI, and predictive customer engagement
- Proactive, curious, and comfortable challenging the status quo to identify new opportunities
- Thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Experience using CRM platforms and marketing automation tools (Bloomreach experience would be advantageous)
- Basic HTML knowledge would be beneficial
- Exceptionally organised, with strong attention to detail and project management skills.
