CRO Manager
Cheshire (Hybrid – 3x Days a Week in Office)
£45,000 - £60,000
Are you passionate about Conversion Rate Optimisation and looking for the opportunity to build a CRO function from the ground up? I am partnering with an established digital business that's investing heavily in experimentation and optimisation. Following two years of successful contractor-led CRO activity, they're now looking for their first permanent CRO Manager to own the function, shape experimentation strategy and build a team as the business continues to grow; this is a genuine greenfield opportunity with significant autonomy, senior stakeholder exposure and the chance to make a measurable commercial impact from day one!
The Company
My client is an international digital marketing and customer acquisition business that owns and operates a portfolio of high-performing online brands across both B2B and B2C markets. Since launching in 2013, the business has grown to over 100 employees with operations across the UK, North America, Australia and Europe, supporting millions of customer interactions every year. Unlike traditional agencies, the business owns its own digital platforms, giving the team complete control over customer acquisition, experimentation and optimisation across the entire user journey. With over 40 products, multiple acquisition funnels and high volumes of website traffic, experimentation is viewed as a key commercial growth lever and has strong backing from senior leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
