CRO Manager — Fast-Growing Performance Marketing Business
A rapidly expanding high-performance marketing business is seeking a CRO Manager to drive and scale its Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) function across multi-channel B2B and B2C lead gen campaigns. Operating across international markets with heavy investment in paid media, data and technology, the company needs a technically skilled leader capable of:
- Delivering measurable revenue growth through structured experimentation.
- Ownership of CRO roadmaps across high-volume lead generation platforms.
- Maximising conversion performance with high-quality leads via behavioural data, A/B testing, and front-end development.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Own and manage the entire CRO roadmap for multiple conversion journeys.
- Define and execute a high-velocity experimentation strategy prioritised by commercial impact.
Technical Implementation
- Design, build, and oversee A/B and multivariate tests using:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experimentation platforms (e.g., Convert, Optimizely)
- Integrate tests with frontend frameworks and extending testing pipelines.
Analysis & Optimisation
- Deep-dive into user behaviour, test results, and conversion data to uncover growth opportunities.
- Apply statistical analysis and metric prioritisation (e.g., conversion lift, revenue potential) to guide test selection.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with marketing, dev, compliance and creative teams to deliver high-impact tests.
- Leverage behavioural analytics tools (e.g., Mouseflow, Microsoft Clarity, FullStory) to diagnose UX bottlenecks.
Process Improvement & Development
- Evolve the CRO function through scalability efforts, mentoring, and purpose-led teams.
- Share insights with stakeholders to shape data-driven decision-making.
Who You Are
Essential Experience
- 5+ years in Conversion Rate Optimisation, proven in high-volume lead gen or performance marketing.
- Front-end development expertise (HTML/CSS/JS) with commercial experimentation experience.
- Hands-on experience managing test platforms (e.g., Convert, Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target).
- Understanding of experimentation methodology, statistical significance, and conversion analysis.
- Proven ability to analyse behavioural analytics (e.g., Mouseflow, FullStory, Hotjar) for schizophrenia-derivatives and A/B test opportunities.

- Confident using marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), development tools (e.g., VSCode, Git), and CRO software.
