Department Description
Marex delivers unparalleled market access via on-and-off-exchange connectivity, offering deep industry expertise and a tech-driven platform for:
- Order-flow management via screen, voice, and Direct Market Access (DMA)
- Award-winning data, insights, and analytics
- Comprehensive coverage across exchanges
The Client Coverage & Cross-Selling function focuses on:
- Identifying and executing cross-selling opportunities with existing clients
- Collaboration with Relationship Managers, Sales, and Data Teams to grow coverage
- Managing the CRM client intelligence platform and Cross-Selling Power BI suite for unified client insights and expansion actions, with a focus on Top Tier and multi-segment clients.
Role Summary
As a Cross-Selling Analyst, you will be the analytical core of revenue growth strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- Transforming client, revenue, and segment data into actionable expansion opportunities
- Guiding Relationship Managers, Sales, and support teams with data-driven insights
- Driving relationship deepening across products, services, and geographic segments
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Lead cross-selling introductions—designing and executing end-to-end strategies to boost conversion.
- Merge acquisitions—integration of cross-selling strategies for new ventures.
- Client Expansion Assessments—conducting analyses and overseeing implementation based on findings.
- Research and client coverage—preparing targeted responses to organisational and client questions.
- Mid-tier client progression—identifying and engaging mid-tier clients to elevate them to higher revenue tiers.
- Opportunity pipeline tracking—filling client expansion assessments targeted at revenue growth.
- Multi-segment penetration—monitoring, evaluating, and scaling successful cross-segment strategies.
- Dropped clients—investigating client disruptions to identify reasons for attrition.

Competencies, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- Background in engineering, data, or finance (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong analytical ability; experience querying large datasets (client and revenue-focused).
- Hands-on Power BI experience: development, data modeling, dashboards, and reporting.
- SQL proficiency and data visualisation experience.
- Confident working with revenue, client, and segmentation data for growth analysis.
- Exceptional written communication—preparing materials for internal and client-facing use.
Organisational Strengths

- Desirable:
- Exposure to financial services or commodities markets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or client intelligence platforms.
- Experience using CRM tools for client management.
