The Cruise Globe is the world's fastest-growing cruise app - the only place to accurately discover, track and relive every cruise voyage in the world. Since launching in early 2025 it has become the digital home for 145,000+ cruisers, co-founded with Emma Cruises, one of the world's most influential cruise content creators, and her audience of over half a million people across YouTube and social.

The Cruise Globe Agency is the booking arm of that ecosystem. We intend for The Cruise Globe to become the world's leading cruise agency within a decade. We believe we have the data, the audience, the network and the team to do it - and this role is part of building that.

This is a content and data led agency, where real, trusted, expert human advisors convert genuine, high-intent demand from our community.

In the press: Travel Weekly - “The Cruise Globe hopes new agency will be world leader within a decade”

About The Role

This is a customer-facing Cruise Advisor role. You will handle high-intent enquiries from the Globe platform and Emma Cruises' audience, end to end - from first conversation through to a confirmed, well-serviced booking.

Customers will come back to you, refer their friends to you, and ask for you by name. That is the point of the role: we are building a team of named, visible, expert advisors for our community, not an anonymous call centre.

You will report to the Head of UK Agency, and you will also be supported by a sales support team who filter enquiries and handle pre-cruise admin, so your time goes where it matters - advising and closing.

The agency is growing rapidly and there is a genuine path to progress to Senior Cruise Advisor and, in time, Sales Manager.

What You Will Do1. Advise and close, end to end

Take high-intent inbound enquiries by phone and email from the Globe platform and Emma Cruises' audience. Build genuine rapport quickly - we want you to build long-standing relationships with your customers. Design itineraries and quotes, and close cruise bookings across mainstream, premium and select luxury lines. Book the whole trip where it adds value - flights, hotels, transfers and extras - not just the cruise. Handle group bookings (big birthdays, anniversaries, reunions) confidently and accurately.

  1. Be the guest’s trusted point of contact

Be the primary point of contact for your guests throughout the journey - the person they come back to, refer their friends to, and ask for by name. Keep the CRM accurate and up to date - clean records, logged conversations and preferences are how guests are looked after properly and handed between advisors without anything being dropped. Run a proactive post-booking service - pre-cruise touchpoints, price monitoring, and being genuinely useful before, during and after the trip. Drive repeat bookings and referrals; treat the lifetime of the guest relationship, not the single transaction, as the goal.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  1. Protect the brand

Give honest, unbiased advice. Our credibility is built on Emma's content and a community of over half a million cruisers - we never put commission ahead of the right recommendation. Handle problems and crisis situations calmly, with the customer's interest first. Operate to a high standard of accuracy on fares, cabins, payment schedules and documentation.

  1. Work as part of a remote team

Excel in a fully remote, fast-paced environment - you should be self-directed, disciplined, and reliable without anyone looking over your shoulder. Follow the agency's processes and QA standards - and feed back honestly when something can be done better. Use the Globe platform's data on each customer (their wishlists, viewed itineraries and history) to know them before the first call.

The Bar

We are hiring the best cruise advisors in the country, and we are unapologetic about that. This is a high-pace, high-expectation environment. In return, you get something rare: high-quality, unconstrained inbound leads, a genuine community behind every conversation, and a fast-growing agency to grow with.

The annual personal quota for this role is £2.5 million in cruise GMV, and we can realistically give you every support needed to surpass this. This quota is significant by design. If that number excites you rather than daunts you, read on. If it daunts you, this is not the role for you.

Requirements

You must have:

A deep cruise specialism. You should be a genuine cruise specialist, not a generalist travel agent. Typically 3+ years directly within cruise, with strong knowledge of mainstream and premium lines, cabin nuance, fare and promotion mechanics, payment schedules and common booking pitfalls. A demonstrable track record. You have a proven history of personal cruise sales success, with 7-figure annual booking volumes. You can talk credibly and specifically about what you have personally sold, your close rates, your repeat business and your referrals. The ability to generate phone-first rapport. You build trust and warmth over the phone naturally. We believe in UK customers buying from a UK advisor. CRM-fluency. You are confident and consistent with a CRM as a daily working tool - logging conversations, managing your pipeline, and keeping customer records clean. Good CRM discipline is a genuine differentiator for us, not an afterthought. The ability to excel remotely. This is a fully remote role. You must be genuinely able to excel in that environment - self-motivated, organised, and consistent without supervision, comfortable working async over Slack, CRM and docs. Ambition & Flexibility. We want to work exclusively with people who have a passion for this work, and aren’t afraid to put in the work required to achieve great things. That doesn’t always look like a standard 9 to 5.

It’s a bonus if you have:

Experience within a host agency or consortium model. Familiarity with using T-Profile as a CRM. Familiarity with Dolphin software (or comparable UK booking/back-office systems). Working knowledge of UK regulatory context - ATOL and ABTA protection, and what it means for the customer. Group cruise experience. Personal cruise experience - we think that the more you cruise yourself the better placed you are to advise others. A public track record of recognition - top producer, awards, supplier recognition.

Benefits

We will expect a lot of you, but by extension we will offer market-leading compensation and opportunities for real, fast progression.

Competitive base salary, calibrated to experience and track record, discussed at interview. Tiered personal commission on the commission you generate, designed so a strong advisor earns substantially above base.
