ABOUT PEGASUS INTERNATIONAL
Pegasus International (UK) Ltd. is expanding its multidisciplinary LNG and infrastructure advisory team. We are seeking highly experienced professionals for immediate engagement on a major LNG Terminal Project covering feasibility, FEED, technical assurance, commercial and PPP advisory, environmental and social safeguards, procurement, project controls and transaction execution.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Provide specialist expertise for LNG storage-tank technology selection, design review, foundation requirements, containment philosophy, instrumentation, integrity and procurement requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review full-containment, membrane and other LNG tank concepts and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Develop or validate tank design criteria, working capacity, boil-off assumptions, pressure/vacuum limits and operational philosophy.
- Review inner tank, outer concrete tank, insulation, roof, penetrations, pumps, instrumentation and leak-detection systems.
- Coordinate tank-foundation requirements with geotechnical, seismic, settlement and ground-improvement studies.
- Review thermal, structural, seismic, accidental-load and containment considerations.
- Define inspection, testing, commissioning, mechanical-completion and performance requirements.
- Support cost estimation, schedule benchmarking, constructability review and tender evaluation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Cryogenic Engineering; postgraduate specialization is preferred.
- Professional engineering registration is desirable.
- Formal training in LNG storage-tank design or cryogenic containment systems is an advantage.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 8 years on LNG or low-temperature storage tanks.
- Direct experience with large full-containment LNG tanks is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of API 620, API 625, ACI 376, EN 14620, NFPA 59A and related standards.
- Experience reviewing tank FEED/EPC designs, foundations, seismic criteria and settlement performance.
- Experience with tank procurement, construction sequencing, testing and commissioning is desirable.

WORK LOCATION AND MOBILITY
- Candidates must be willing to work from and support Pegasus offices and project assignments in the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
- International and domestic travel will be required for project meetings, site visits, workshops, technical reviews and stakeholder consultations.
- Candidates must be able to obtain the necessary visas, security clearances, medical fitness and work authorization; Pegasus will provide reasonable support subject to eligibility and applicable law.
