Job Description

🚧 Lead CS&A Engineer

📍 Warrington

📄 Contract | Permanent

We're looking for a Lead CS&A Engineer to drive the design and delivery of temporary structures, enabling works, and site modifications on a major project.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • 🤝 Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop the layout of security enclosures, buffer stores, and external weatherproof structures.
  • 🏢 Define and coordinate the scope of internal and external strip-out and modification works.
  • ✏️ Produce high-quality technical drawings, details, and design documentation that clearly communicate design intent and specifications to contractors and stakeholders.
  • 👷 Conduct site inspections to verify design scope, identify interfaces, and develop practical engineering solutions.
  • 🎯 Support the successful delivery of safe, efficient, and buildable CS&A design solutions from concept through to construction.

Qualifications

  • 🏗️ Strong civil & structural drawing and detailing experience across a range of engineering projects
  • 🛠️ Proven experience designing, detailing, and specifying temporary structures, including:
    • 🧱 Heavy interlocking concrete block enclosures
    • 🏗️ Scaffold structures
    • ⛺ Temporary fabric/weatherproof enclosures
    • 👷 Experience producing designs for specialist contractor delivery.
  • ⭐ Previous experience delivering work for Sellafield (SL) is highly desirable.
  • 💻 Proficient in CAD and drawing editing software.
  • 📂 Experienced in locating and managing engineering drawings using Cimage.
  • 🎯 Detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical documentation in a collaborative engineering environment.
