We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist with various site activities, supporting skilled trades and ensuring smooth project progression. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple construction disciplines, including roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and more. The ideal applicant will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to develop their skills within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist tradespeople with their tasks by handling materials and tools efficiently
  • Prepare sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organising equipment
  • Support with the installation of roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, plastering, masonry, and carpentry work as required
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment
  • Assist with fabrication tasks and reading schematics for various projects
  • Contribute to site organisation by maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the working area
  • Support in construction painting and other finishing activities as directed

Skills

  • Experience working with civil engineering companies
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks
  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings is beneficial

  • Physically fit with good organisational skills and attention to detail
