Location: Manchester (Various Sites)
Salary: £18 – £25 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (Overtime available)
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking CSCS General Labourer to join our team on a permanent basis. Unlike temporary agency work, this role offers long-term stability, holiday pay, and a consistent workload across our high-end residential and commercial projects throughout Manchester. You will be an integral part of the site team, ensuring projects run safely, cleanly, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and safe site environment by clearing debris, managing waste disposal, and ensuring walkways are hazard-free.
- Logistics & Loading: Assisting with the delivery and unloading of materials (e.g., timber, plasterboard, bricks) and distributing them to the relevant trade teams.
- Trade Support: Assisting skilled tradespeople (Carpenters, Bricklayers, Electricians) with basic manual tasks as required.
- Equipment Handling: Safe operation of basic power tools and ensuring all site equipment is stored securely at the end of each shift.
- Health & Safety: Strictly adhering to site-specific health and safety regulations and wearing full PPE at all times.

Requirements & Skills
- Essential: A valid CSCS Card (Green or Blue).
- Experience: Proven experience working on busy construction sites (ideally 1+ years).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks for the duration of the shift.
- Reliability: Punctuality is critical; you must be able to commute to various Manchester postcodes for an 8:00 AM start.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and a "can-do" attitude.
