Technician
Location: Brize Norton Type: Permanent, full-time Compensation: Competitive salary plus benefits
About the Role
The Technician’s core responsibility is to operate as a tank cleaning engineer, working collaboratively within a team to:
- Prepare sites by removing pipework and manhole lids to enable confined space tank entry and cleaning.
- Perform above/below ground tank cleaning using confined space methods, ensuring tanks achieve optimal cleanliness.
- Assist across the division’s departments, including:
- Tank and line lining
- Testing
- Fuel tank dewatering
- Forecourt maintenance
- Identify root causes for issues and provide customers with long-term solutions.
- Engage in a high degree of manual workforce activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate independently or as part of a team to deliver services (e.g., forecourt maintenance, VR visual testing, tank dewatering) across all company customers. Note: This list is not exhaustive.
- Respond to emergency call-outs for critical issues.
- Occasionally act as site supervisor/lead operative, attending briefings and sometimes leading teams,.Customer liaison to discuss ongoing projects and future service opportunities.
- Adhere to near-miss/potential incident reporting and ensure clear communication with supervision in any vehicle/equipment damage or implementation needs.
- Maintain punctuality with work completion (including all related paperwork) while recommending operational improvements/resources.
- Provide technical support or undertake duties related to qualifications/capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience
Requirements:
Must possess:
- A clean UK full driving licence valid for operating Company vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Work experience/effective access to petrol forecourts.
- A valid Right to Work in the UK.
- Working knowledge of RAMS documentation (advantageous, though training is available).
